It was the spring of 2002, and I was planning an exhibition in which my father's paintings would be displayed in a former church. I would take care of the installation and the writing of the critical text for the catalog. Soon, however, the role of "critic" was secretly perverted by me, betraying the correct relationship that should exist between artist and exegete. I took literally the ability of critical language to deform and recreate its object of observation, constructing an apparatus that was a play on words and things for its own sake.
